The Sippin’ Blues Hour will resume next Wednesday. In the mean time, we have a special video promotion featuring the Boogie Beasts. We are very fortunate to have received this video and we really dig this track called “Mad”. See below for their Bio.
BOOGIE BEASTS
Biography
Dirty beats, hypnotising slide, screaming harmonica riffs and plenty of fuzz: all of these will be served by this four-men band from Liège and Limburg, Belgium.
In their greasy sound explosion, the founding members of the psychedelic band Voodoo Boogie and the insane garage duo The Goon Mat & Lord Benardo prove to be the perfect match.
Boogie Beasts translate their penchant for electric Delta blues into a most idiosyncratic sound, which has a touch of The Black Keys jamming with John Lee Hooker at a rave in the wee hours of the morning, or Morphine on a psychedelic trip with Little Walter, or even RL Burnside backed up by the young Rolling Stones at a juke joint-gig. The drive is infectious, the noise is pure filth, yet highly irresistible… Are you ready to boogie with the Beasts?

BOOGIE BEASTS – New album out in January 2019
“A rhythmic and inspired album, marking the arrival on the blues rock scene of a future big name.” That’s how Rolling Stone France described ‘Come And Get Me’, the debut album of Boogie Beasts, from Belgium, released in 2015. With their high energy live performances, this alternative roots foursome have turned many clubs and festivals, in the Benelux and beyond, into insane juke joint parties, ever since.
Their second album ‘Deep’ will be released in January 2019, by Brussels based record label Naked. This time, the Beasts joined forces with producers Rodrigo Fuentealba Palavicino (Fifty Foot Combo, Manngold, The Sha-La-Lee’s, ex-Novastar, ex-Gabriel Rios,) and Micha Volders (ex-El Guapo Stuntteam, ex-The Sore Losers, Meteor Musik). The result is a very personal album, that sounds raw and energetic, just like the band’s live shows. Get ready to boogie with the Beasts!
